Yyaayyy!! *Applauds* Because... one... or two people keep asking me about it! (And no one else cares~ x3) Right, so Ayame and Rin meandered over to Chii's house Thursday night. We hung with her and Keithy, until he had tuu leave. Then, after Ayame and Rin made an attempt to sleep on teh couch, Chii offered her bed! Hurrah! ...apparently, I got fresh with Chii at night. And by fresh, I mean I snuggled her. She thought I was awake and messing with her... but no, I was asleep. She told me all this in teh mornings~ OH YEAH. *Shrugs* Keithy came to get us, and an hour after he arrived we set off! IT WAS AMAZING! BD We went to help him unpack stuff at his new place first. 'Twas magical. Then, he and everyone else spiffed up their stuff whilst there. Chii put the final details of her L cosplay, Ayame put her Mello scar into life, Keithy got into Ki-err, Light cosplay, and HP... she... put on her wig and ORLY hat. =3 (One of these doesn't belong~)
Then we went to the con! XD AND WE ARRIVED! Uhm... first we checked in, then got our badges... dropped our stuff off in teh room, and went about wrecking havoc! Friday's a bit blurry to me though, because it was the first day and my memory fails. But I met a nice Aerith cosplayer who is now my friend on Gaia! And that was the day... we came across the other DeathNote cosplayers that we would more or less hang out with the entirety of zeh weekend. We also came across Ayame's friend Matt, who was cosplaying L. o_o; He was Tall L. Or, as Chii called him... Shroom L. (I forget her logic behind that one, but she did have a good reason!) Uhh... uhm... ;_; Oh yes. Ayame kept having epic moments. She adopted a "Mini-Mello" (whom I call Momiji =3), who is apparently her future child with a Matt cosplayer... xD And then she got into the most amazing argument with a Near cosplayer. And then she got backed up by two other Mello cosplayers. And then she and the Near took turns trying to bribe another Matt cosplayer to their side... xD; It was WTF-ful. The nighttime was teh fun. But I crashed early. xD So everyone continued their fun without me, which was cool because I enjoyed teh sleep. <3 Chii, Keithy, and Ayame could tell you what happened afterwards. They went kareoke-ing with other DeathNote cosplayers. (A Light and a Matt. I think their third member was an Ed. She was misplaced in her group just like I was misplaced in mine! <3 We're special!)
Then Saturday came! So much happened on Saturday. @@;; But then, we woke up early and went to bed laaate. That may be why. Huh. Anyway, we went to the morning Cartoons and had wonderful blasts from teh pasts whilst eating free cereal. We consisted of bedtime L, Light, Mello, and Near. Only, apparently Near sleeps in his normal attire...? (I forgot to pack PJs and extra socks. My feet were so cold the entire day... ;^; So... very cold... *Rocks back and forth*) After that, we went back to teh hotel and finished getting ready. And by finished, I mean I just chilled watching anime whilst everyone else got changed. Can't remember if Momiji followed us back that time...? She followed up back to the room a lot. (We did the same thing with GG-san and Mandy last year. Wait... why it is that every year we end up taking an under-aged girl *or two* back to our room with us...? Isn't that just a little creepy? .__.; *Smacks head on wall* Yes, yes it is terribly creepy...)
So on that day, Ayame and Keithy were the same as Friday (Mello and Light) but on that day Chii was Misa-Misa and Rin/HP was Near. I'm not sure if I regret being Near or not. o__o; *Scritches head* Oh, and Momiji cosplayed Momiji that day (on Friday she was younger Mello). ^^ Err... lessee... Ayame worked on her mission to get a picture with every Matt cosplayer at teh Con. For a minor character, a lot of people were him. o___o BUT THERE WERE NO TERU MIKAMI COSPLAYERS!! DD= Uhm... we hung out with all our different groups at teh Con... took part in some kind of commercial thing.. *Scratches head* Carameldanssen'd way too much (but it was fun so who cares XD)... and Meanie Mello cosplayer kept tickling me. ;^; I'd be minding my own business, then BAM! From nowhere, a sneak attack! She was very quick and nimble. Anyone who says a person shorter than you can't overpower you, lies. She always won. ;___; Errm... why can't I remember half of Saturday...? O_o; Whatevah. So after awhile, I went off to get Reuben's signature for Mara. Keithy and Chii kept me company, though all three of us were not mentally there. Somehow, we didn't die of boredom. Meanwhile, Ayame was goofing with fellow DeathNote cosplayers. xD At least someone had fun. Until we actually got let into the room... then Chii and Rin did the TimeWarp and whatnot. Nothing like watching Misa and Near TimeWarp. O_o Got Rueben's sig, and hurried off to the DeathNote quiz panel. There, teh Ayame was squeeing because she found one of the VA's for DnD (Death Note Dubbed. Is funny, but a bit ecchi. Watch if you don't mind!) I snapped her photo. *Dodgy look* Aaaannd... A Mello cosplayer won it, so it was teh kewl. I hadn't a clue what was going on everytime teh quizzers showed a picture, because I didn't bring my glasses and I was teh blind lol. @@; Afterwards... uhm... somehow or another (I forget how) and L cosplayer we hung out with a lot "stole" Chii's Light plushie, and being in her character of Misa she bolted after. IN HEELS. It was amazing. I could only watch for so long, as then teh Meanie Mello attacked. ;___; We went in ciiircles. She's really talented at the end result of me being on teh ground. @@ It only sounds wrong, I assure you. Then L cosplayer (after losing the plushie back to Chii) decided to help, and while Meanie Mello had my hands teh L had mah feet and I was all like, "O__o;;;;;;;;; *Awkward awkward awkward*" Other people whistled -___-; Rinneh was not amused. They should have helped her!!! T^T Maybe they did? I can't remember. They released me somehow, at any rate. XD; And then... we met up with Keithy, who hung out with Tall L/Shroom L. We eventually decided to head back to teh room to eat, and we had samwhiches. :3 Err, I think. *Scritch scritch* If anything is out of teh order, lemme know you guys! Aaaand... we did some other stuff... that I can't remember~ AT ALL.
Eventually we went to teh dance! That I remember! We almost lost a Momiji. Rin/HP nearly had a heart attack. @@; I was so worried a pervert abducted her. ;-; Be careful Momiji...! Your Aunt Near worries over you so! But alas! We found her, and it was gewd. And at teh dance, well... *Shrugs* I doesn't like dancing, so I waddled over to my little seat to try and keep my toesies (and the rest of me) warm. Next thing I know, I end up watching people's stuffeh. xD Though Meanie Mello threatened she'd be back to make meh dance. I was all, "LOL no." Then during the Rave (the dance ended and went to a Rave afterwards) I was apparently a lonely Near. O_o; People kept checking on meh. Teh Rude cosplayer I bothered all weekend checked on me - twice! - and some dude I met for teh first time at the rave checked on me three times. And conversed with me during one of 'em. And then this one dude we met Friday either wanted to offer company, or he was lonely and wanted company. XD *Shrugs?* Halfway through, Meanie Mello returned and - lo and behold, she got me to dance a little. Very briefly. Momiji, Keithy, Chii, and Ayame joined in for a bit. xD Then they dispersed, and I was all, "Ohhh pretty lights @@." Hahah, bunnyboy raping unsuspecting Jiraiya-sama cosplayer... >3 That was amazing. Jiraiya-sama thought he was getting some ass-on-ass action from behind... and then he was that ass wasn't a ladies and jumped at least five feet. Kekeke. And the bunnyboy? He, literally, happily hopped away. XD I also watched one heck of a rave show as these five people were working it. IN FRONT OF ME LOL YAY! (Best part with glowsticks - some of teh juice getting all over my lovely Near cosplay. xD Wearing all white, I was GLOWING! OHOHOHO~! It faded, so I didn't care it happened =3) And theeeen... Meanie Mello gave me five dollars for watching her and her friend's stuff, and even though I told her I didn't want it she gave it to me anyway. ;^; And then skiddadled off. After that... two L's kept me company on and off. xD Then... oh yes, people kept trusting me with directions. O_o; I got Momiji and myself lost once... (I led us to the wrong door five times, and we only had three to choose from BD), and then I got confused which exit an L cosplayer meant and took him to the wrong one. I eventually got him to the correct one (but I doubt he'll ever trust another Near with directions).
Aaaand... during the Rave, apparently Chii did ballet with some big guy and the guy had good form? I doesn't know, I wasn't there to seeee... And near (hahah) the end, I was getting kind of drowsy so I cuddled all the plushies I was watching and snuggled on teh chairs. Oddly, people left me alone. xD It was so nice of them. And no, I never fell asleep. Almost did once, but always remained aware enough of my surroundings. Eventually, we went back to teh hotel... and I went to sleep that time. XD
Sunday... we didn't do as much. o__o; Got up, checked out of teh hotel... watched Cosplay-A-Go-Go because Ayame wanted to see teh skit with Matt-on-Mello action... uhmm... Chii was Lolita L, Keithy was catboy Light, Ayame was Mello in Matt's clothes, and Rin was... uhm... recognizable to the people she met Saturday. XD; (Near in a suit with unicorn ears???? *Shrugs*) Those of us who wanted to do commissions did... Ayame was happeh with her Journey/Whyrll action and Rin... not so happy with hers. xD; But then, Rin got teh confused when being asked by teh artist, who already got teh wrong idea (LOL SHE THOUGHT AYAME AND I WERE GOING OUT LOLOLOLOLOL! *Smacks head* And that I was cosplaying my character! LAWL! *Shoots self* Rin is not into sexy time with friends. D= NO. And she would certainly never ever want to cosplay Journey. >_< Blech.)
Uhhh... after that, we went to watch AMVs... while we waited, Chii and Rin went to get pocky which was... an interesting experience. Basically, they were out of teh ramune Ayame wanted, so we contemplated meandering back to ask her when the nice man who ran the place actually went and looked for some extra cherry ramune. He was so nice about it! .///. I gaveth him a hug. And then I waited for Chii to get her pocky... only to learn, she already did and it got awkward. Ahahah... *Face-palm* (Also, a lot of people kept asking where I got my ears. xD I felt... unique???) So we head back, only for Rin to hold the door open for everyone (which I do all teh time... I am such a gentleman. >_< while Chii caught onto a Zabuza cosplayer who... also happened to have been Phoenix Wright on Friday and Saturday! xD His girlfriend was Haku. Oh yes, I got a Zabuza/Haku picture. >3 So, I was waiting for them (and teh Rude cosplayer who eventually showed up xD) to go inside, but they wouldn't because they hadn't finished Crisis Core and there was an AMV with spoilers... so Chii spoke with them, and then Ayame came to see what was going on.
We all confused each other. @@; So rather than make us look like total idiots (we do it well-enough on our own, no reason to emphasize here O_o), I'll just say we moved a lot and there was mass confusion. But we eventually went back inside. BD Aaaand... we were supposed to stay for closing ceremonies, but didn't. o_o; Why? We were tired. =___= (And personally the weekend was so full of conflicting weirdness for me that I was ready to go home)
But the con was fun. ^-^ I got four doujin, volumes 1-7 of D.Grayman (THEY HAD A SALE ON MANGA!! *__*), a Near plushie (to keep my L plushie company), Saiyuki Gaiden v.1 (it's in Japanese, but whatevah), Vampire Princess Miyu manga v.1 (yay!), and uhhmm... err... that commission that while drawn very VERY well... my character was so far from being IC that uh, I don't want teh picture. The art was well worth teh money spent, but... I was so disappointed in myself I wasn't clearer about his personality I hate looking at teh picture. o_o; I embarassed myself a lot at teh con. ;////; But we won't go into that, so I can forget and go about my life happily. <3 Errr... uhmm... *Scritch scritch* Oh! And got Mara a DMV wallscroll, because she asked us to get her something at teh con while we were there. IT WAS THE ONLY DMC THING I COULD FIND!! DDD= There weren't even cosplayers, except that one... Virgil??? I think that's his name. *Shrugs* Never played teh game. Right, I traded some of my old manga for volumes one and two of the Trigun manga. BD Uh... uhm... yeah, I totally can't think of anything else. xD But I made lotsa friends! <3 And the Rave was definitely a highlight. ^^-
